Today we want to share some ideas for day trips from our charming apartments in Málaga, Marbella, and San Pedro Alcántara. These three jewels of the Costa del Sol offer a perfect location to explore the surroundings and enjoy unforgettable experiences.

A Journey into History and Nature

From Málaga

Ronda, one of the oldest cities in Spain, is famous for its impressive bridge that crosses the El Tajo gorge. You can reach it in just over an hour from Málaga. Upon arrival, stroll through its old town, visit the Plaza de Toros, and enjoy the panoramic views.

From Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara.

The trip to Ronda takes about an hour by car. This getaway allows you to immerse yourself in the history, architecture, and natural beauty of Andalucía.

Nerja: Spectacular Beaches and Caves

From Málaga

About 50 minutes by car east of Málaga, Nerja is known for its stunning caves and beautiful beaches. The Nerja Cave is a must-visit, featuring impressive rock formations and a fascinating history.

From Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara, the journey to Nerja takes about an hour and a half.

The trip is worth it to enjoy the crystal-clear beaches and the famous Balcón de Europa.

Caminito del Rey: An Adventure in Nature

From Málaga

The Caminito del Rey is one of the most exciting hiking routes in Spain. It is located approximately an hour’s drive from Málaga. This trail offers spectacular views and a unique experience walking along suspended walkways on the cliffs of the gorge.

From Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara, it takes about an hour and a half to reach the starting point of the Caminito del Rey. Be sure to book in advance, as tickets are limited.
